Laura graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in applied design. During her studies at SDSU, She began making jewelry and selling to local boutiques. She eventually relocated to San Francisco where she immediately got involved in the jewelry community. She began showing her work in many of the local art shows like the Sausalio Art Festival, King’s Mountain Art Festival and Mill Valley Art Festival. She also exhibited at two of the major wholesale craft shows, ACC Baltimore and the Buyer’s Market of American Craft. Her work has been shown at more than 200 boutiques and galleries all across the country.
After 5 years in San Francisco, she decided to move back to Southern California. She then was acceped to exhibiit her work at the acclaimed Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach Ca., which she paricipated in for 16 years.
It is fun to see how much her work has evolved. She always strives to create unique designs that will be cherished and last a lifetime with an emphasis on unique and one-of-a kind hearts and crosses. Her work focuses on texture with a fluidity of design and fine scroll work.
