Raised in a small beachside town on the east coast of Florida, I grew up loving creative expression. I held art shows in my garage as a child and then painted murals in high school.
I decided to chase my dream of a career in art by studying studio art at New York University, followed by a BFA in graphic design from the University of Florida.
My artwork combines my graphic design experience and fine art training to express my love for nature. From my design jobs, I frequently use vinyl films for various applications (billboards/signage). By using repurposed pieces of these industrial films, the vinyl I know so well commercially, becomes my canvas and my paint.
I am interested in combining organic, flowing textures with the industrial, solid surfaces of the vinyl and discovering how those contrasting elements work together in a composition.
