Carolyn is an evolving artist whose journey has been shaped by a deep passion for color, light, and shadow. Over the past six years, she has immersed herself in the study of balance and harmony, experimenting with various mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Initially drawn to landscapes and still life, Carolyn now enjoys the challenge of capturing the mood and personality of her subjects, continually refining her creative voice.
Her work reflects an understanding of color temperature and variation, which she skillfully uses to create atmosphere and evoke emotion. Carolyn finds great joy in mastering the play between light and shadow, knowing it brings depth and realism to her art. Carolyn’s inspiration comes from nature, human connection, and the dynamic interplay of light in everyday scenes. Currently, she is developing large-scale acrylic works, including a 36×36-inch painting that showcases her evolving style and artistic vision.
