BJ is a SoCal artist working in oils, pastels and acrylics, often painting seascapes, landscapes and florals. Since childhood, her interests extended to dabbling in acrylics, paper crafting and even painting fun and fanciful designs onto bird houses and river rocks. But, when the fine art bug finally hit after retirement from a corporate career, she was totally unprepared for how it would transform her life. Today she can often be found painting “en plein air” (French for in the open air). In studio she will refine her plein air studies as well as start new works from reference photos of favorite locations around the world. BJ paints what she loves and loves to share what she’s painted.
