As a long-time resident of California Barbara has enjoyed every aspect of its vibrant culture.
A graduate of Cal State Fullerton in Graphic Design, with a teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach her experience includes art direction, marketing, statistical analysis, and fifteen years of teaching and curriculum development in visual arts and animation.
Her work has been featured at the OCFA Showcase Gallery, the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, ArtVenture in Costa Mesa, and it is in personal collections from California, Colorado, and Minnesota to Maine, Montana, and Washington, D.C.
She has created an extensive collection of cast bronze sculpture. Her current focus is on acrylic painting and mixed media.
She believes one can have many occupations and interests, but a passion for art stays with a person for life. She feels fortunate to create her art in an area that provides so much inspiration, and provides so much support for the arts. Places like Orange County Fine Arts Association are a gift to both artists and art-lovers alike.
