Ann Rankowitz is a So Cal artist working in oil, acrylic and multi-media. Her art is inspired by her life experiences; the people and the images she is surrounded by each and every day including her family and friends, landscapes, seascapes and historically significant sites.
Ann enjoys attending vintage car shows and taking long car rides discovering the West with her husband in one of their vintage cars. She enjoys traveling East visiting with family and visiting other favorite locations in the US and around the world.
Having moved to CA from the East Coast, Ann is semi-retired as a licensed clinical social worker. She has chosen to challenge herself to use her gifts and talents, as she shifts her focus to creating art while tapping into her inner being in an attempt to communicate in a new and different way. Her ultimate goal is to increase the frequency of enjoyment, happiness, playfulness and pleasure in her life and that of others.
