| June 10-29 The Artists Eye All-Media Open Regional Competition at Showcase Gallery. Come see a wonderful display of artistic talent. Awards will be given at the reception June 14 from 5-7. | June 22 the General meeting moves up a week to make way for Fathers Day. Come to the June meeting and vote for the Board of Directors. Nominate someone or sign up yourself for the OCFA Board of Directors in the next few weeks. The board is looking for gallery directors, officers, and members-at-large to serve from July 1 2008 until June 30, 2009. The meeting is held at the OCFA Artist Studios workshop in South Coast Plaza Village, at 1:15. At every meeting with refreshments there is a professional demonstrator, an opportunity to enter an art competition, and a chance to win at an art raffle. | June 22 Marine artist Howard ODonnell will demonstrate how he captures the spirit of boats as diverse at racing yachts and historical vessels with precision, color, and drama. Howard is a member of the Festival of the Arts in Laguna Canyon. After a brief OCFA general meeting at 1:15 Howard will begin his demonstration and will continue until 3 at the Art Center at OCFA South Coast Plaza Village. For more info call 714-540-6430. |

| July 5 Art Walk at Artists Village--Avantgarden, the Art Gallery is located below the Memphis Restaurant in the historic Santora Arts Building in Santa Ana at 207 N. Broadway and offers contemporary and experimental art by OCFA artists. Art Walk is from 7—11pm. Dine at local restaurants and enjoy the galleries and studios. 714-558-8843. |
